On Saturday night,
What a delight,
A story at Easter, weekend,
Oh, what a surprise you send,
The biggest sweetest Easter egg,
A present for to beg,
Little creatures tall and small,
Both houses did a law install,
Republicans and democrats,
Passed a law, for dogs and cats,
Rabbits, mice and monkeys too,
And little creatures in a lab or zoo,
Love is all around,
And on this Easter day is found,
For beings all around, and us,

On the other hand, the reason the rabbit is so prolific (the mouse as well) is that the food chain requires herbivores to feed the carnivores of which humans are one. Personally, I prefer squirrel over rabbit. And, I never killed a squirrel (humanely, I hope) that I didn't eat, or like for that matter.
