Divinity is like water.
Finding the nadir of being,
it cannot retreat any further...
It casts no shadows on oceans of existence.
And life is like a river.
Ever descending towards the endless ocean,
it rises––towards realms of higher beings.
When we no longer draw on tributary currents
all that remains are shadows––
––floating on path left behind.
Divinity is here to stay always. It cannot be washed away with water. Life is like a river flowing endlessly towards God and our future home in heaven.
so very true. we will only have (shadows floating behind us) that is why our river must be as pure as we can make it and not polluted with the garbage of life. well done
