Big Horn

Old Grey Horse knelt down on one knee
He had seen this sight before
When the men in blue swept quickly down
And the village was no more

But his memories were so very long ago
Of treaties and promises from high
When the yellow metal on the blackhills came
And the treaties and promises would die

So the young braves gathered around him
As he delivered his terrible tale
But the warriors laughed and shrugged it off
He was old and very frail

Don't follow them, he tried to warn
I do have the gravest of fears
But the headstrong braves rode after them
Soon the gunfire reached his ears

But old Grey Horse, he would be surprised
They had won the battle there
And the men in blue had been wiped out
With their leader, Yellow Hair

So the Indians had won the encounter
But the fight was far from done
As the Union's arm of vengeance reached out
They would show them who had won

Through the Amazon by S. Oliver Eldridge

The drug called "The Shari" has been used for vision quests over many years. But, when all the rivers start drying up, the tribe must send a young hunter named Tomás on a much more important trip through the Amazon.
