For a friend who went through this.

Although we're married many years
We're both still young at heart
The only thing that hurts me now
Is we've grown so far apart

You used to hold me, cuddle tight
I couldn't do any wrong
But that was many years ago
That was when our love was strong

I know its not right holding on
When all you feel for me is hate
But in my heart I live in hope
And pray its not too late

To me you are still beautiful
In my eyes you look so well
But I know that when you look at me
All you see is a burnt out shell

You say you love a younger man
And my world is filled with pain
And you say the love you had for me
Won't see light of day again

But think on this as time goes by
And listen carefully to what I say
The grass thats greener over there
May turn to dust some day

Cause' when this young man tires of you
And you're world is filled with pain
Just remember what you did to me
As the circle turns again

Well...there's a trend in the new society.

Older women looking for younger men; and older men looking for younger women - mistake in thinking that they would have someone younger to look after them in their old ages, but only some of such romance last. When the novelties dies down, then the younger ones look elsewhere.

But then of course, I cannot sum it up as the way it is, because some of these romances DO LAST A LIFETIME. Some who are looking for something or someone they have missed in their lifetime would likely be looking for same in lifetime partners.
