A man so misunderstood

Poor Michael Jackson
Why just what can we say
Taken oh so quickly
In a sad heartbreaking way

So misunderstood
This Peter Pan of life
His world it was a strange one
A world of sorrow and strife

A great showman on stage
He'd wow the crowd wild
But inside his heart
He was still a small child

Tried in a court room
Though cleared on the day
The mud had been slung
It would stick all the way

But Michael's at peace now
He can't be hurt any more
He's up there with Jesus
On some vast golden shore

And he's doing a concert
with Elvis and co
What a treat for the angels
Oh my word, what a show

I think that's very true.
