BELFAST WILL RISE

I LOVE BELFAST

The troubles are over, we've made a new start
Belfast has changed, since hate tore us apart
There's a feeling of hope, though some hate will remain
But we've nothing to lose now, and everything to gain

So think of the children, who follow our path
Do you really want their hearts filled, with some terrible wrath
If the answer is yes, then you're far gone from hope
Cause' you're pulling on the end, of a one sided rope

You can't shed your hate, your thoughts drive you mad
But the truth is my friend, you're really quite sad
Cause' changes will happen, like it or not
We must all make our peace, in this vast mixing pot

So take this hate with you, when you go to your grave
Had you really a blood lust, or were you simply naive
Cause' Belfast will rise, she's done it before
And people like you, will be gone and no more
