If you don't know who Fred Knittle was
He was the front man for, Young At Heart
They are a group of old people who sing together
But that is only just the start

Cause' Young At Heart made a film
And it's title is the same as their name
They just didn't know that in later years
They'd earn respect and find some fame

I first seen Fred doing a Coldplay song
He carried his oxygen bottle onto the stage
They had to seat him before he sang
Then for me, Fred turned a new page

The song is called, I will fix you
And Fred sung it, backed by the rest
His deep voice filled the hall that night
By God, Fred was the best

They have the song on utube
But WMG they cut the sound
They said it broke their copyright
But it's still there to be found

Now Fred Knittle died on New Years day
The date was 2009
But Fred will live forever now
His memory will grow and shine
