My Nephew Bruce

Bruce, my nephew,
I feel for you and what you are going through.
The big C word is a scary thing.
I know because I have been there too.
This dis-ease brings with it unease
but you are strong willed and are determined
to get through it with ease.
It is hard to understand why,
but you shouldn’t ask, and you will get by.
You are only 48, and that is young.
You want more time here in the sun,
to see your grandchildren grow up
and have time with them to spend.
You feel in your heart this is not time for your life to end.
Love from your family is with you,
and knowing that will help get you through.
Your prayers have been answered so far,
so keep on praying
and there will be many tomorrows.
Miracles happen every day.
Reach out and grab one as it comes your way.
Keep hope and faith each day,
and know you have a reason,
and God will see you through
this hard time, this lesson,
and show you many more new seasons.
Love, healing, and light, is on the way,
remember that each new day.

Love and Blessings from Aunt Judy

Please send prayers for Bruce who went to the hospital today for a stem cell transplant for Multiple mylenoma. He is determined to beat this disease.

Judith,

Powerfully penned to show the nature of the 'C' beast - our prayers are with Bruce.
