The day I became a mother,
was better than any other.
It is a lot of responsibility,
but it’s been well worth it to me.
When I held my daughter
in my arms for the first time,
I was very happy to know she was mine.
I have learned since then,
that without having her,
I would never really feel complete.
The joy she has brought to me
over the years, just simply can’t be beat.
I will admit that being a mom,
brings some worries and woes,
and my daughter sometimes steps on my toes.
I wouldn’t change it for the world,
because God gave me a wonderful girl.
There is no better feeling when you are down,
than to have a daughter to give you a loving word,
a hug, or just having her around.
Being a mother is a very special thing.
It can bring into our lives,
so many beautiful things.
