Time

It’s a new year
and a month is all ready gone.
Time flies by so fast,
it just keeps moving on.
It really doesn’t matter
if you are busy
or you take it easy.
Time just keeps flowing on
and there never enough time
to get things done.
We need to have more fun.
I used to think time flew by,
just because I am getting older,
but young people say it’s the same for them.
Time slips right over their shoulder.
It must be our world and the pace it has set,
which makes our minds move so fast
that many things we forget.
We must slow down and enjoy our lives
and stop being in such a rush.
So we can listen to our thoughts
and tell the world to hush.
Time comes and time goes,
It’s how wisely we use our time
That keeps us in the know.
