Written many years ago, before my prince. We think these things when a nasty break-up spins our head, and we start to doubt.

To be the only woman in the world is what I dream, as far-fetched as it may seem.

The eyes of love is what I long, forever gazing into mine, forever, where they belong.

The visions of intimacy they swell, so sweet in passion cool, in passion heat.

To speak the words that make me grow, touching, yes, but the words, they tell me so.

The bond that holds two souls combined, the kind that won't stray outside.

Fire burns within my heart and I yearn for that velvet flow, like those who will never part.

To care so deeply, who, where, when will I know?

Is what I long for never to be real?

Will the pain that surges through my being ever heal?

Then let me dream, oh stars in the sky, let me dream of my nest upon high.

Sheltered by the woods, warmed by love's fire, my essence protected from all who would expire.

Save me from the coldness that only people bring about.

Nature, take me to where I have no fear, no doubt.

Someone will be there, I know, waiting for me with tender words echoing in my ears and gentle hands pillowing my face.

A man only for me, the only woman in the world.
