He watched her with fascination and complete wonder and felt himself falling in love
He had seen her, many times in the park, she always wore dasies in her long black hair,
She made his world sweeter, just by being there.
He called her the Flower Girl,
Her dazzling smile always rocked his world.
She always sat on the same park bench, alone,
She intrigued him and slowly an attraction for her had grown.
Sometimes she dipped a wand into bubble soap and made many bubbles fly,
She giggled with delight as the bubbles took to the sky.
Sometimes she looked sorrowful and wrote things in a theme book,
Her aqua colored eyes, held a mystical, dreamy look!
He was a poet and found his subject matter in life,
As he studied faces, he could tell who's had joy and who's had strife.
The Flower Girl had him puzzled, she seemed to be on an eternal mood swing,
Her face reflected warm sunshine and storm's rain!
She would suddenly burst into song,
Her soft childlike voice soon had him humming along.
He soon had great affection for this curious sprite,
She seemed to walk in beauty, grace and light.
Looking at her he felt a pull of gravity,
Should he approach her ot leave her be?
He soon viewed her as an unreachable star,
He found great joy in adoring her from afar.
She was oblivious to his constant stare,
She didn't know that he had learned to care.
He decided to adore her from afar,
His Flower Girl would he his bright and beautiful wishing star.
