I went to the club to hear the featured
singer sing and had a magical night.
I went to the little out of the way club, to see the starring act,
I had heard his voice was like velvet, all the Ladies he did attract.
The club was quite busy, but by chance I found a ringside seat,
Little did I know that soon my destiny and I would meet.
The lights dimmed and on stage, bathed in a blue light,
Sat pure passion dressed in black, a fantasy before my sight!
He began to strum his guitar, singing his sorrow and playing his pain,
I knew instantly that once I had heard him, I would never be the same.
He sang of a broken heart and lonely nights,
He sang of looking for someone to treat him right!
Women were drawn to him, he was like catnip,
He was sweet nectar and we all wanted a sip.
I felt his maleness and it rocked the room,
He caused my passion flower to come forth and bloom.
For a second his eyes met mine,
He made my heart skip a beat with joy sublime.
When his set was over, women flooded the stage,
They surrounded him, to adore him, he made their hormones rage!
I slowly got up to go, when I felt someone grab my sleeve,
It was Velvet Passion, saying," Please don't leave!"
The crowd grew quiet and started to stare,
Women began to give me hate stares, but I didn't care!
He took my hand and we walked out into the night,
Then he pulled me close, kissing me, then holding me tight.
I asked him," Out of all the others, why did you choose me?"
He said," From the time the lights came up, you were all I could see!"
" I sang to you for I realized that you understood my pain",
" I heard your heart call to me, it said my name!"
This was like magic, a fairy tale come true ,
It was like a bolt of lightening from out of the blue.
He had won my love and heart, when he had played and sang his pain.
I realized from this moment on, it would be for me he sang!
