I am a writer and was seeking solitude,
When I write, I am a bitch and am always in a foul mood.
I rented a seashore cottage, for a hideaway,
It was isolated and lonely, the perfect place to stay.
The only people for miles around, were the widowed caretaker and her son,
This was just what I needed, where my surroundings and I became one.
When I first met Jeremy, the widow's son, his eyes locked with mine,
His stare sent a quiver running down my spine.
He was quite a handsome young man,
Dark hair, blue eyes, muscular build and had a tan.
I would see him from my window, frolicking in the sea,
Watching him, caused strange wild feelings in me.
So I decided to avoid any contact at all,
I have always been passionate and know
nature's call.
Jeremy just wouldn't cooperate,
He was constantly at my side, a regular date.
He was young, but an old soul,
We talked for hours, he brought me joy untold.
Then one day he took my hand,
I pulled it back in shock, He said," Why did you do that, I don't understand?"
I whispered," You are just a boy", he said," No I am a man!"
He placed my hand on his crotch, saying" Rose I ache for you",
I just stared into his eyes, wondering what to do.
I pushed him away, ran to my cottage and shut the door,
On trembling legs, I sought my bed, shaken to my core.
I must have fallen asleep and was having a strange dream,
I felt gentle hands caressing me, how real it did seem.
Urgent lips began to claim mine, going deeper with each kiss,
My breasts were being ravished, causing feelings I couldn't resist.
Strong hands descended into my valley below,
Locating my pleasure zone and not letting go.
I feel the heat of desire consuming me,
I opened my eyes, to find that I was Jeremy's prey, I wasn't getting free.
I wanted to fight him off, but my desire was too great,
As he entered me, I embraced my fate.
" Oh Rose, Rose, Rose", he did sigh,
As we crested on orgasm's wave, the ultimate high.
After passion's fire was smoldering, he put his head upon my breasts,
I cuddled him close, I felt sated and blessed.
The rest of my stay, Jeremy shared my bed,
Within our cocoon of love, there was just now, nothing lay ahead.
I don't want forever, just the joy of here and now,
I will just savor each second, not caring about why and how.
With my nurturing, the boy had become a man,
Fate had thrown us together, why, I don't understand.
The summer quickly passed away and so did the tender nights,
Sweet, tender times when two spirits united and took flight.
Ended was the summer, ended was the season,
Ended was a love, that had no rhyme or reason.

Music: Summer Of 42

SC, a season of love that would not be denied. Good for Rose and Jeremy! I'm just wondering (idly) what kind of In Praise of Older Women poem Jeremy might write. Just a thought. Loved this, SC.

Coo coo ka choo Mrs Robinson, you go girl. Though often frowned on in some circles I truly believe that more boys were made into men by older woman than society realizes. Honest open write here and whether from reality or imagination you made it real.

Wow SC maybe I could pretend this is me just for a moment and that Jeremy is Fred for this is how it was back then. A beautiful write that really drew me into every word you shared. Thank you Sc, you are the greatest.

Well, Ms Comfort, what an absolutely delicious season you
created for Rose...and of course for the tan blue-eyed boy
of muscular build. Seem to me that you a lot of good rhyme
with good reason. -gene.
