The Southern Belle sat moodily at her vanity,
I declare, the chile was as vexed as she could be.
Her blue eyes were stormy and her pink lips held a pout,
She was so restless and in need of some good lovin, aint no doubt.
Her days have been so drab of late,
She needs some romance and a Mr. Wonderful to change her fate.
It had been hotter than Texas asphalt and she was as well,
But it wasn't the weather that was troublin, do tell.
She craves romance, passion and some mystery,
She wants a manly man to come and change her history!
A Poetry Man who would woo her with pretty words,
A man who would truly listen and let her know that she'd been heard.
A man to love her body, but also her mind,
A man who could cause fireworks every time.
A man to hold her tenderly when she cries,
A sweet talkin man to say things that can make her sigh.
A man who can hold a child tenderly,
A man intune with his gentle side would suit perfectly.
A man who can tantalize and tease,
An indulgent lover with a slow hand that knows how to please.
A man who can see beyond an apron and kids,
A man who would treasure her and make her his.
