This is an acrostic poem of what pain is to a person in general, and more specifically, what it means to me on most mornings when I wake up.

What is a person

Who has Pain?

Perplexed

In pain,throwing up.

Yup. That is pain all right. I have it every day myself; NOT fun! (Right now my back is screaming at me; pulled a muscle at work, but I still worked despite the pain. OWIE! Think a hot bath is in order when I get home after I watch my show....)

Well done, Rebecca!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Burleson, Karen Lynn. :(

i'm sorry you're hurting--so am i

pain to me is a monster. it invades and will not let you go. i know--been living with this monster for over 20 years and the docs say it's all in my head...living on tylenol and motrin for 20 years and can't sleep, get no relief...i know pain. it's my best friend (other than words).

powerful, hardhitting little write--

(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :(
