Just a poem dedicated to my elder sister, Julie. Her and husband are working on adopting a child from a foreign country. Right now they make a wonderful Aunt and Uncle to my nephews! I am so proud of her.
She sits at her desk all day long. Drives thru traffic to come home. No home cooked meals, just microwavable deals, she has got the dogs to attend to when home.
The dogs are her life. Suddenly pregnant with child, Yea! Yet, her life was in peril, no more kids she can have, I feel so bad for her. I know she shall see her child in heaven. I am so happy to have my sister back with me!
She met her husband in the army. What a good pair they make! Over ten years now, how they keep it up, don’t know how, I love them both a great deal!
Hi Becca - a nice write for loved ones, have you shown it? - and the first verse is my favourite - for setting the scene, the rhymes, and how you have communicated a lot about her in such a small verse - excellent! Nicky x
