I realize that,
Through all of this,
He is standing by my side,
The Lord.
Always there,
Listening to me,
I have great respect for him.
He sees what is happenning to me AND
It makes Him sad.
So, He is there to get comfort and strength from
And to make sure I have friends to lean on.
I can laugh, cry, give, love and share.
I have friends.

I am not numb anymore,
Just tingly,
I am awakening!
I am learning to love myself!

This poem was written while I was living and working in Jefferson City, Missouri as a Computer Programmer and battling an inoperable brainstem tumor which I still fight to this day, the side affects. The tumor was finally taken out after being in my body for 8.5 years from 1989-1997. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
