Nurses

I broke my hand in a car wreck on January 12th, 2002. The kind nurse at Parkland Hospital was not offended that I had called her a "Bi**h".

Nurses are priceless and pure,
So much damage and death,
They have to endure.

The Spirit within them,
A Valuable Gift,
Chose healing and victory,
Giving self-worth a lift!

The Nurse comes in to make
sure you are sleeping.
At the 8:00am hour, she gives you
medications to take with breakfast!

And some Nurses are really very sweet
and kind, EVEN if you call them a BITCH
for GRABBING your broken left hand!

I THANK GOD for Nurses like Ken, Rodger, Kathleen, Renee, and Joeline!

Hey, some nurses can be like Nurse Ratchet ("One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"), but others are real angels. My father, who was a nurse, was one of those. After m auto accident in 1997, I thanked God for decent medical people like my ortho surgeon and physical therapist. I write about my accident in my romance novel "The Early Years" posted here at AD.
Honest and sincere piece.
