This was written in response to Michael Curry's challenge about a favorite room in the house where you write your poetry. (I presume that is the intended challenge)
My "Computer Nook" is where I spend
time to write my poetry.
I have a table in my living room,
where my computer and chair sit.
My spiral notebook and pen are
beside the computer,
half of the book is filled with poems
the rest are on diskettes and a sheet.
This is my "thinking place".
On M,W,F, and Saturdays, I arise at
Ten am at the earliest.
I stay awake until midnight at the very
least.
The nighttime is when I get my most work done!
The world is asleep when I am up and writing and it is so peaceful!
I like it that way.
I realize I find answers to me,
in my "Computer Nook".
Where would I be without it?

Amen to that! This sounds so much like me. I couldn't live without my computer! (I'd be really in trouble if I lived long ago (grins). Liked this a lot. Challenge well met.

Yup, I found studying for collage was easier in the tranquillity of the night, the early bird catch's the worm, so I get up late:))
Very well written, maybe I should set a challenge for the best Britiku...LOL splendid.
Wonderful response to the challenge. The night air does have some pretty special energies about it. I seem to have drifted off to being an early bird, much to the shock of me LOL. Great write.
This is my personal inspirational book of poetry. It contains many poems written for family, friends, and relevant life situations. Hopefully you will find some that will encourage and inpsire you in whatever arena you are found in your circle of l
