Texas getting that cold when I was at the lone star state, snowed but for about 2.765 seconds, saw a group called stryper, and went to 6 flags over texas, so humid went in water forgot I had nothing on under my white shorts, had to hide for ages, where still basking in 5c. All the chaps wanted to go to billy bub's. Stay warm

As you were freezing Ohio was heating up. Strange the way the weather seems to be going lately. I thought Ontario was in for an early winter, but now it would be on time when it arrives. Wonderful write!

these old yankee bones can't take the cold anymore LOL
good write---but you forget, if you don't like the weather in north texas, wait five minutes, it will change LOL (supposed to be in the 70s by sunday)--only in texas LOL
It sure is, isn't it?? And the bad thing is, I CAN'T find my gloves!! ARRRRGH!!! My poor little arthritic fingers were NOT happy with me this morning when I went out after I got the mail! LOL By the time I got to the library, they were stiffened into claws, and I couldn't hardly move 'em until I got to the library to THAW! LOL Now they're working just fine! (Am off today, as you can probably tell! LOL) Good write; glad you survived! Just bundle up and eat some soup if you get cold, and don't be afraid to throw the covers over your head when you go to bed (or better yet, throw an extra comforter on if you get TOO cold)!
But, even with all the hassles of the cold, I LOVE it; this is the way late fall SHOULD be! NOT 70 frickin' degrees; I am from OHIO, for God's sake, and those cold Ohio winters sure have spoiled me! This is how Ohio is like now, and I LOVE it! LOL (But that wind DOES cut through me; and I DON'T like that, especially WITHOUT my gloves! LOL)
