"Love On The Beach"

Sunlight streamed across your face
casting shadows
leaving barely a trace
of fear to linger.

You walked toward the sea,
seeking passionate waves
  most tenderly,
while seagulls flew above.

A Dark Knight,
seeking forbidden love,
craving passionate delight,
all from his lady love.

You follow the rose petal trail
with baited breath;
each petal so frail,
that leads you to her.

Just ahead in the distance,
you sense her fragrant aura,
a sight that puts you in a trance,
and sends you lovingly onward.

She turns to see your face,
and a smile begins
to erase,
all your fears of yesterday.

Her glowing embers,
constrast your darkest thoughts,
bringing tumultuous trembers,
of desirous passion.

Your desire is intense,
the sight of her
makes you lose your defense,
of that once forbidden love.

The waves,
the sun,
The Beautiful lady
and love on the beach!

author's notes:  This poem is dedicated to Dark Knight, a poet that writes out of the box, a most devoted husband and father, a dearest friend, and most of all my Darkest Knight!  I shall miss you DK, much peace, love, and light,
