Rescue me from my thoughts (A Collaboration) By: William “D’Artagnan” Bonilla And Amber “V” Moonstone 09/27/08 William *~~ I toss and turn each night In agony For I am tormented By your presence in my mind I am unable to extract you From within my head You have impaled Your immortal image Like a tick on a hound Please release me from this Incarceration Of yourself in my every thought. I love you Why couldn’t you whisper to me Those very words In the heat of passion, Of those bygone nights When we made love Till the broad of another day’s light. Write me a poem, sing me a song Blow me a kiss into the wild winds Pray we meet again All I am in possession of Besides you in my mind Is the taste of you, in my mouth You left behind. Hear my pleads Come back to me Tell me my darling , you’re still mine.** Amber ~~ That night turned into daylight, I saw you as a forbidden pleasure that raked my soul Of guilt that I am* The other woman. Forbidden thoughts drove Us to madness Toward our physical union And pleasure and love was branded Into my soul forever. I could not say those words, For fear I would not be able to leave And cause more pain Within our souls. We cannot go on like this, You must choose, Which world you will live in, Your world, Or Our World. I shall confess that I will always Be yours, I will come to you this moment, If you will but speak those words “I am free to love you, Stay with me forever, my darling” I shall not go on like this, I must have you completely, I cannot long for someone That is not free to love me. I shall be awaiting That Time,, when I can be free To say those three words to you. And truly love you the way you Desire to be loved. Amore’
