Photo: The Elbow Room, I was sitting in the window seat on the right hand side in this picture.
I was at dinner, between two shows on Saturday and wrote this on my napkin as it was happening...lol

Window To The Street

by Amber "V" Moonstone

6/13/09

Window to the street,
Bird's eye view
solitary stare
looking at you.

You were standing on the corner,
talking on your cell
looking quite seductive,
and delicious as hell!

I couldn't help but notice,
the pout of your lips,
they were curled ever so gently
just asking to be kissed.

Another moment gone by
longing for that chance
to embrace a lover
while capturing just a glance.

My table at the window
barren except for me,
I longed for you to sit
and share some herbal tea.

I watched as you crossed the street,
a smile formed on your face,
as a beauty of a woman
entered your big embrace.

I smiled, and went back to my tea,
and waited for my meal,
what a lovely view I had
for glances that I could steal.

I love the way you let us lsok through your eyes out your window. You captured well a daytime fantasy and made me feel that it was almost sitting there at the table with you as you noted the scene unfolding outside.
