MY HAMMOCK

sweet woman come lie
in this hammock with me
and we’ll rock our cares away
deserted cove under palm trees
where we watch two dolphins
at play like children in the sea

legends of my island home
tales of ancient love and loss
while ocean breezes caress
your salt kissed tan shoulders
and my lips envy their boldness

let strong arms enfold you
lie back and let the day flow
gold sunlight warming your legs
and the happy cries of the gulls
inviting you to let go of worries
and perhaps your inhibitions?

sweet woman let me offer you
a drink made with coconut rum
captian morgan will never tell
how he saw me untie that bikini
and heard soft moans in moonlight
as we rock that hammock all night
