beyond the power of mere words
beyond the foolishness of dreams
it is the woman behind the words
concealed within idealistic poetry
she is the one who so gently wakes
latent romance in my deepest soul
and the crouching beast of passion
i have never been able to control
she tip toes in and out of thoughts
sweetening them with her presence
arousing them with her sensuality
stopping them dead in their tracks
with only a flutter of her dark lashes
or a whisper so soft i barely hear it
a whisper of “will you?” “shall we?”
or “kiss me on each erogenous spot”
sweet woman you drive me to distraction
Romantic Poetess is locked in a private vault all this October...but I bet she would love the caress of these words proclaiming love's sensual touch...as for me cursed be these intimate words giving wings to passion....
