**********************************************************************

ARE YOU SURE?

in the shadows you find me, watching you
i’m the one your mother warned you about
tender at times like the lovers of legend
wild as a fierce dragon in a medieval wood
able to win your heart with sugared words
as capable of causing it to beat with fear

i could kiss your hand, or bite your breast
cultivate the splendor of a lover’s garden
until you swoon into my waiting open arms
or…tear apart your soft romantic notions
with the brutality of a fire out of control
until i reach the animal deep inside you

until losing control of the lioness you are
you snarl and claw your way to ecstasy
in the alley, in the foreboding shadows
where i lift your skirt, and possess you
soul and body until i am done with you
and we can play those gentle games again

the man shrouded in shadows of lust
watching, waiting for you to walk by
i’m the one your mother warned you
never to talk to or go near enough
that he could grab you by your hair
and rip open your white cotton blouse

are you sure you want to play with me?

THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL WORK. UNIQUE IN ITS PERSPECTIVE AND HONEST IN ITS APPROACH AND MEANING, I APPRECIATE YOUR CANDID DESCRIPTION OF 'LUST'. I AM LOVING THIS KEEPER AND THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING. GOD BLESS AND LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

If this is predation, DJ, it is predation of the most sensuous and elegant kind and very few 'lionesses' could resist or would want to; this has masterly passion and will...and playfulness...all the right things.
