So many of you beautiful ladies at AD have been my readers and encouragers, even when I am absent for long periods of time. I am writing a collection of poems that are dedicated to you. TORNADO


For Lady Karen Vidra


i cannot remember a time when my heart was calm
if she was near, if even the thought of her surfaced
i felt my emotions pulled into the cyclone of her love
where she spun me around into depths of infinite longing
and dropped me in worshipful mood at her golden feet
her warm heart is a deep chasm of honest compassion
where beats the burden for those who remain unheard
she is clothed in the bright robes of a goddess of love
and yet she allows the attentions of a mere mortal man
with divine grace and with a passion that matches mine
for she is a tornado of emotion and sensual femininity
and who could resist the force of her cyclonic storm?
i am a speck of dust tossed in the winds of her desire
where our lips seal a hot forecast of dangerous currents
