I think, Peter, when we come to the realization of just how fragile earthly life is, through deaths, and dreams and experiences throughout our lives, it is one of the most powerful, scary, if not the most, powerful epiphanies we ever have. Remaining sensitive to others without adultering 'ourself' afterward is the key to finding Life after death.
I am struck by the words 'Hold still' in reference to the last line with its image of movement, creating flickering and possible snuffment...
With a few lines you deliver an impactful and powerful message. So much wisdom and truth in these words. Having struggled with cancer, I appreciate them all the more. Thank youf or sharing.
