I rose out of a clear lake like the morning dew,
Like gentle clear mist up to the blue sky I flew.
I was a honeybee, returning to the hive,
Life was honey-sweet, I was glad to be alive.
I was a drop of rain, falling into the sea,
Became a roaring ocean till eternity.
Eternity passed, I became an angry cloud,
With every angry lightning growling very loud.
Than I had a dream in which someone were to die,
I cannot remember who… maybe it was I…
I thought I was a man, but I am just a gnome,
I lost my way in my dreams; I want to get home.
…I am a drop of water falling in a lake,
I will be pure, clear water when I shall awake…

It seems to me the drop of water has to learn to swim well with the others, mixes well amongst peers; or else it won't belong...
