Angel from heaven

A cute angel from heaven came down to Earth,

Fell on her bum and lost some fat from her girth.

Now she stands on street corners, winking at men

N’ gets paid for her “blessings” as oft’ as she can.

Santas on street corners

Santas on street corners; do they give presents?

If you believe that you’re missing the essence.

Their rosy cheeks and smiles may suggest honey,

But for every Ho! Ho! they collect money.

Mum with kid visiting Santa at the mall.

“There, there my sweet Charlie, sit on Santa’s lap,

Hurry, move your arse, or I’ll give you a slap,

I must take a photo, to show you’re happy,

To turn jealous your good for nothing daddy.”

Kid on Santa’s lap looking the innocent,

Hoping to get the most expensive present,

When he’s disappointed he creates a din

And Santa receives painful kicks on his shin.

Midnight Mass

The midnight Holy Mass coming to its end.

Was it soul inspiring? No use to pretend.

The priest blesses his flock with a pious grin…

And counting the collection can now begin.

…and finally… Peace on Earth…

Battlefield falls silent. Old enemies rest.

Peace on earth for the night is now manifest.

Tomorrow at dawn a thousand throats will yell

And many thousands more will end up in hell.
