Who tells the man who built a home, Of strong bricks and mortar with space to roam, Where children were born and raised with no Cain, In a theme of love, no infliction of pain,
Who tells the man who fathered two, And loved with a heart so straight and true , To see them lured so cunningly, To a different fold where they need not be,
Who tells the man whose castle has crumbled, Whose life has spiralled and utterly tumbled, His future once so happily envisioned, Now a clouded dream of hopeless fruition,
Who tells the man who loved and lost, Abused and vexed by those who’ve gone, Seeking happier hosts of lesser cost, To coffers and pieties, Friends deceived, friends led on,
Who tells the man whose pride has fled, To winter’s cold and long dark night, With saddened heart now split and bled, A shattered soul, his faith in flight,
Who tells the man of meagre means, As he stumbles and struggles, Over barriers unseen, That defeat can be defeated and well may be, A new door to life with a brand new key?
A man needs to go on even though his world is shattered by lose and deceit. God will give it to you through prayers, and you might like to read some religious authors on the den to help you through. I know they have helped me and keep in there and you will do good. nice poem though sad.
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
