There Was A Time

There was a time when the passions burned
There was a moment when the challenge moved me
But that was then, that was then
There was a time when my heart would yearn
There was a moment when I had to be free
But that was then, that was then

There is a time when my flame burns dim
There is a moment when the desires leave me
And that time is now, that time is now
There is a time when my future is grim
There is a moment when I want not to be
And time is now, that time is now

There’ll be a time when the future looks bright
There’ll be a moment when hope grows within me
But that time will be, that time will be
There is a time when I won’t dread the night
There is a moment when fear won’t consume me
But that time will be, that time will be

There is a time that was then,
There is a time that is now
There is a time that will be
And through it all, I wonder how it will end
I wonder how it will end

Interesting questions you pose Michael. I have to believe we are meant for a greater purpose. Sherry summed it up so beautifully...
