This is Our Time

In the blinking of an eye

What we prize can be despised

A foe’s hatred undenied

In a moment trapped in time

Without reason, without rhyme

We must join in unity

Advance in our liberty

There is a time there is a place

There is a will there is a grace

There is a moment we all must face

Hand-in-hand and standing tall

It’s a time that proves us all

It tests our courage our resolve

This is our time

Setting differences aside

Together now, side-by-side

Raising hands to God above

Not in hatred or in spite

Nor in deference to the fight

And with reverence to our might

To the country that we love

There is a time there is a place

There is a will there is a grace

There is a moment we all must face

Hand-in-hand and standing tall

It’s a time that proves us all

It tests our courage our resolve

This is our time

Soon we will be tested for our resolve as a nation. Each of us will be pushed to the limits of our humanity.
