This was inspired by a photographer friend named Cassandra. Her photo looked like clouds holding the moon.

angels hushed now
in prayers we start
snow white hands
inside of my heart

pour down blue skies
how March winds knew
of souls synchronicity
and leaping love flew

cradle the moon
like you make me alive
cradle the moon
where you touch me inside

clouds but to hold me
wings that grew strong
awake from a green sea
in hours too long

Just beautiful, Michelle. I like your four-line stanzas, especially when the last word in a line could apply to the first word in the next line/stanza. I mean, "Angels hushed now/ in prayers we start". And no punctuation, great! How pure, simple and peaceful this poem is without commas or periods. Peace, Kathy

where you touch me inside <---- Top notch. this sounds like the May Queen singing with glee in her heart.
So much here from a mind so very learned and deep. You see so much in the wee incidentals, bringing them to life....

Has a beautifully hushed and reverential tone, Michelle: full of both wonder and stillness. Such poise, equilibrium and grace. A real sense of time and clouds passing, and much emotional traffic between what the eyes witness and the heart reveals. TY Kate xx

Michelle,
What a lovely poem. You have said so much here. I loved the stanza:
"cradle the moon
like you make me alive
cradle the moon
where you touch me inside"

I can feel the moon energy in your words!!!!!
Peace, love, and light,
