I put a hand up
to shade my eyes,
air on white linen
like the breeze
kissing my soul,
and you
in the barn
down the road.
"Wildflowers,"
you said
and laced them
across my bare legs,
fragrant spiders
dripping color on my skin
and your laughter
the music I dream to.
"Mountains protect,"
and I said the words
knowing they weren't true ,
that the fields go on for miles,
and that you would not
follow me home,
but them.

Be always safe,

Always be true to ones soul, and never netted or over protected unless true love is found... is how this reads, so many lasses accept unworthy blokes just for the sake of it.... you can see I've been reading Hardy, lol but it is still the same ....
Diamond like sparkles on a wind-tossed pond -
Gentle breezes elevating long strands of hair -
Beams of sunlight shifting through the willows -
A soft soul searching for meaning ...
