The Gift

Long ago across the sea
A gift was given to you and me.
A gift so precious and so rare
A gift you can't find anywhere.
A gift that far outweighs gold
A gift that is felt only by the soul.
A gift that some have already found,
and once found grows by leaps and bounds.
A gift that you hold very dear
A gift of love, a gift of cheer.
This gift was God's only son
The Savior of men.
He was born and He died
That we might live again. The Gift
