she gave me a token a ribbon of love grown from nature's soil sewn with the sun golden strands sparkling like nuggets in a stream white gold, yellow, the color of wheat woven magically by birth and heredity to carry in a locket hanging from a silver chain held next to my heart a piece of her as in ye olden days when damsels gave their knights a piece of themselves before going into the fight i carried it with great care held it close every night a lock of her hair a true romantic's delight.

This reads with all the magic of the Lord of the Rings poetess. Setting a stage of soft breezes and sweet fragrances and peacefulness and warm flowing honey.

Wish I would of thought to take a lock of my deceased hubby's hair while he was in Hershey Medical Center and I was saying my last goodbyes to him. Never even thought of it. I often even cut his hair myself but never kept a lock. He had beautiful thick hair. Oh, well, have photos and a picture in my mind all the time anyway. Could not tink of everything at that time.
