A Woman's Touch

Women are so absolutely incredible. Why wouldn't you want one?

sometimes it takes a woman's touch - the kind that straightens up a bachelor's room, the kind that sets a child down the right road when everyone else says he's doomed, the kind that creates so many somethings from nothing, the kind that sets you on fire when you're alone. the kind that reminds you why you even began to build a home.

the hell that came my way brought me to my knees. it's a place i have never liked to be. never liked to admit the load drove me down and broke. never liked to admit i was strugglin' just to keep hold, to keep holding on to the world, to my family, even to you. strugglin' too damn hard and beginning to lose.

and that's when it takes a woman's touch the kind that straightens up any room, the kind that sets a child down the right road, the kind that creates so many somethings from nothing, the kind that sets you on fire when you're alone, and reminds you why you're building this home.

and when i get your touch, the wind and the rain, and all the hail that nature sends my way cannot break me ever again. i'm gettin' up off my knees, liftin' high that globe that was cavin' me in, standin' firm and tall and moving forward again, because . . .

sometimes it takes a woman's touch - the kind that straightens the stormiest room, the kind that sets a child down the right road when everyone else says he's doomed, the kind that creates so many somethings from nothing, the kind that sets you on fire when you're alone. the kind that reminds you why you even began to build a home.

thank you, baby, for reminding me . . . .

This is quite inspiring and loving and touches on those many things that make a woman (in this case I was remembering my Mother) Gods highest creation. Excellently conceptualized Poetess ...

Enjoyed this Jag and it is so true, when we often lose sight of who we are, why we are doing somthing or just what it is we need to survive...the right touch can answer all the questions.
