*I fell out of bed* *and landed on my head* *first into an open mouth* *lips wide open and* *filled purple with blood* *tongue crimson* *flipping out and rolling me up* *like a hand rolled blunt* *tight in the middle* *loose ends* *licking my seams closed* *in a candy soaked wrapper* *death took me in between* *two boney fingers and* *lit me up* *slow draw deep into* *flaccid lungs* *held me close within* *and then puffed me out* *in circles* *rings around the bed post* *where piece by piece* *I was re-assembled* *together but never* *to be the same again.*
