interwoven with
rose petals

find me strolling barefoot
down pretty lawns paved
with cotton

one quick run of
phantom hopscotch
and a broad smile
to match

I glide on lakes of
golden light
stretching out my
weightless arms

to hug this entire
dreamy world
and feel indefinitely
at ease

backstroking through the
crystal clear streams of
all which is not real

I finally end up
in the dreadful framework
built by peace

inches away from the
conclusion of this
pretty nightmare.
