I saw him last night holding court center stage, spewing forth smug parroted political drivel. He waves high his sword over the Gordian knot for flat concurrent faces to behold and marvel. A cheap politician running from his life. Knowing as truth the frail core of him I smile and with conflicted sadness close the lid.
