bein' from TEXAS i just had to write this poetry today...aw hell, oh well
it's all in fun
bought me a pick-up
truck
thought what the f**k
one a' those Big one's
with big tires
big wheels
4-wheel drive
quite a deals
4-doors
that's for sures
extended cab
extended bed
goes where it's lead
got the bumper guards
side rails
man, does it sails
past everything
'ceptin' the next gas station
"fill her up..."
man, i coulda' bought a small nation
my pick-up & i
we fly by
every car on the road
we carry our load
don't get in our way
what can i say
except
"fill 'er up"
man do i pay
but ain't no sob
gonna' mess with me
my pick-up & i
we'll pass you by
least 'till the next fillin' station
or that small nation
bumper to bumper
thigh ta' thigh
we be a humper
my pick-up & i
un-leaded, mid-leaded- FULL octane
my pick-up & i
we maintain
full throttle
we don't cottle
to those small little cars
by fars
my pick-up & i's
we pass everything
'ceptin' the next fillin' station
shoulda' bought that small nation
my pick-up & i
we know why
we always try
to look in the rear view mirror
for some sob
gettin' nearer
oh me
oh my
next one i buy
will be
the one i see
that sob
passin' me
my pick-up & i
we see eye to eye
no one passes us
or i begin to cuss
only one thing we can't pass
is that next fillin' station
not even that small nation
my pick-up & i
we have an ego
we don't go slow
ain't no why
or where
we can't go
'ceptin' past that fillin' station
hell, i shoulda bought that small nation
but my pick-up & i
we be together
forever
'cause if you read
what i just said
if you took note
of what i just wrote
i bought this sob on a 12 year note
so we be together
forever
my pick-up & i
didn't get it at Best-Buy
