of 2003

over a year ago

me away
what can i say?

that someone
found what i done
over a year ago
sun of a gun
ain't it fun

hell, i have a hard time
remeberin' today
much less a rhyme
i wrote yesterday
'specially a year away

ain't really my style
but all the while

so roast it or toast it
i don't boast it

my ramble
my gamble
my bet
guess i get's what i get

but we do what we due

i remember the star
i remember the bar
out ther so far
now i remember that night
the moon light

2 weeks later
my mom died
and i cried
but best i had tried
see ya' later alligator

but that single star
out ther so far
late at night
shinin' so bright
gave me some light
'least for that night
i'm glad i did write

that's what i do
