earleir tonight
i was gonna' give my dad a slice
of cheese
'if you please
that's what he wantd
so a slice i saunted

but the knive cut thru me
my little left finger
if you please
latteraly
down the bone
all the way
severed a nerve
and a vein
man that was one
i thouht i was done
there was some pain

it bled & it bled
it hurt
but i couldn't feal
my left hand
no way to heal
could hardly stand
i couldn't understand

so i called his nurse
told her my promblem
i think she did curse
but i've heard worse

so she showed up
to take care a' me
that's not her job
just how it be

she said...
"oh my God..."
you've cut your finger
that's a real wing dinger...

i said "no shit sherlock...
it's my damn finger"

so off to the hospital i do go
don't you know
that was a treat
real neat

18 stichtches
a pint of blood
later 18 hitches
and i still flood

but she's there
where
i couldn't be
there for my dad
where she should be

so now i'm home
and i write
right handed
at leasts for tonight

'cause my left hand
don't understsand
the cut & the sowin'
it hasn't nerve

it does serve
a function
but tonight it don't function

so pardin' me
if i misspell
aw hell
you try
thinkin' it left handed
writin' it right handed

and still be standin'

don't ever cut cheese
if you please
with your right hand or your left
unless
you wanta' ta' be me's

How the hell does one cut so deep when only cutting cheese, I thought to cut cheese was to fart a loud one...LOL?

Next time a duller knife might be in order or buy pre-sliced, no more problem...there I solved this one, bring on all those problems to the solver of the day, but only on Sunday...Piece of Finger, Ed & Rufuz

PS: did Dad like his cheese with or without the blood?
