(that ain't exactlay true
i have one that simply says
"if i was there..i wouldn't be here"
anyway...that's a different story
a different time
most certainly a different rhyme)
on my wall
afterall
there just hangs
a few things
some of my art
some part of my heart
pictures of kids
and things i tried to hids
also
just
an old painting or skectch
blue skies
barely seen
in the background
no what i mean
barely there
for you to see
blue skies that barely be
green fields on each side
but inside
is a black road
charcoal
cold
it goes straight
but at it's end's
it tend's
to hesitate
to wait
to part
to start
into 2 trails
oh wells
it just widens
each has it's own sidin'
there it goes
which way does it grows?
does it even, who know's?
an old calendar
a picture for sure
and on the side
as that road grows wide
a simple quote
take note
from Thoreau
"Simplify...Simplify"
and on it is hung
a song unsung
a prism
a gift from Dreamweaver
a stone
a reflection
all alone
just a deflection
of our affection
thank you for that reflection
of Light
it changes
rearranges the black color
into red & blue & green, purple, even feal the mellow of yellow
night or day
say what you may
it is mellow
thanks for the colors
and
you
a simple plack
an old shingle
from some old shack
that simply said
simply read...
"We need to talk...GOD"
now she's dead
her book has been read
so i look at my wall
and thru it all
i never seem to fall
'cept when i step down the hall
into that black path
that is the past
no the patch of green
if you know what i mean
not even
the colors
the prism does show
they don't know
stephen
for who i be
can you see?
but GOD & i
we need to talk
we need to walk
betweeen
those pastures so green
there on that black road
there on each back road
we each carried our load
so if i cry
or if i imply
the word is
alway's 'tis
i'll try
'till i die
"so if i cry
or if i imply
the word is
alway's 'tis
i'll try
'till i die
"Simplify...Simplify"
before your last try
and you die"
Well done steve! Great emotive poem, and it has strength in this last stanza. All one can do is "try." Ya, darn right, as long as one is still breathin', they should try and give it their best shot!
Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about.
You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached.
Deciding what is the core of belief.
This combined narrative dialogue and play is about the uncreated, unborn and undying transcendent Self of God-consciousness and Buddha-nature. It describes an odyssey of transcendent Consciousness Awakening and Remembrance.
