poems
poetry
of used to be
and tomorrow
and yesterday
words passed away
to be.
old songs
i sung
old words
that hung
out there
in the air
old memories
of u & me
old poems
of who is whom
and so i presume
rock n roll
a silent stroll
of old love
or is it love thst'd been told?
i guess that grows old
late at night
i wait for the sight
of today's yesterday's
even thought
these's those that
pass their own way's
into tomorrrow's
moment's gone away
gone their way
moments that had their say
anyway
what's her name?
what's her number?
what's her game?
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
