i write
in my own way

i say
unspoken words
with word play
that i heards

there in my mind
phases & phrases
some that are unkind
some that are blind
some i just find
just hazes
phrases from my mind

i write
of old loves or new
i write about the morning dew
i write about you
or the color blue
yup, i do,
write
right or wrong
i sing my own song

the unspoken word
the word i heard
and it did rhyme
it happens all of the time
