my day begins at MidNight
that Twilight between Night & Day what can I Say Vagabonds Bums Drunks Whore Just The Bores knockin' at my Doors "if..." "if a..." "If you could" "I would..." "i Shoulda..." "i Woulda..." "if i couda'" "Please" "got a dollar to spare?" "a nickel a dime a penny a cigarette a light?" got nuthin'. nuthin' to lose. except... old hope old dope the last drink last drink last think they drunk last think they thunk "BUB's" ComenDrums poor's whores young's old's who's stories told who's so bold to ask the ? we all make a suggestion in our frustration "get a job" "don't rob" but... "oh baybe maybe..." whores we are whores we be apple cores sell ourself to buy our self just a thought buy the way anyway i did paid for this time

you paid that's right
here's my dime no fight
my bar i saw it all
your slice of life i can recall
we had ,madams & mafia
sports stars and media
bums whores and punks
teetotalers and drunks
alcoholics and entertainers
bartenders with fancy fingers
waiters /waitresses the same
some things you can't name
straight,gays, bi's inbetweens
a real conglomeration scene
everyone knows life can be mean
it can also be a lovely dream...e.;-)
