i came here tonight searching for the night
i gave up on the light it was too bright darkness sadness madsness that's where i belong there in a sad song a melondcoly melody that's me i came here tonight reaching for some light hell i ain't never been too bright a dim bumb in the night

At times it is difficult to determine if it is the light or the darkness that we crave, for each offers us it's hope and it's disillusionment.
